Saturday we had a family bday brunch in Stella’s honor and she had a *fantastic* time. I did too because we showed up, ate, left, and didn’t have to clean up :-) Stella especially loved celebrating with her cousins Ty and McKenna. You two are always so good to her! Thank you to everybody for coming to celebrate such a special day with us.
Just for fun, click here to see last year’s birthday pics.
Tuesday night we had a small celebration at home for Stella’s 2nd birthday. There were balloons, cupcake decorating and presents from mom & dad and Ga Ga. Grandma also brought her a feather boa and tiara, which she loved. It was a fun evening and we look forward to her family bday breakfast this weekend. Happy faces were strategically placed to keep her from killing me when she is 16 :-)
Stella loves her Boo Boo Kitty ice pack from Aunt Courtney. She requests it for even the slightest of bumps :-)
I made some mini cupcakes for Stella’s bday tomorrow. The teacher asked me to go easy on the frosting but I couldn’t resist the wee hearts. Our gal is two already, can you believe it? Tonight I walked into the bathroom and found her stuffing a box of kleenex into the toilet. She froze, pointed her tiny finger at me and yelled, “you go outside and close the door!”. It seems like just yesterday she was saying mama and dada for the first time. Remember this (click here)?
Stella and Ga Ga love to cook together and this past week they made cinnamon pinwheels. Stella mixed the sugar and cinnamon together all by herself.
